McGill Pre-Law Students’ Society
Fostering the future of law
About Us
The McGill Pre-Law Students’ Society (MPLSS) is an organization run by aspiring law students, for aspiring law students. As a Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU) club, we provide invaluable law-related opportunities and network support for students. The MPLSS also oversees two undergraduate competition teams – the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams – as well as the McGill Undergraduate Law Review Journal.
President’s Address 2023/24
Hi everyone! On behalf of our executive team, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the McGill Pre-Law Students’ Society (MPLSS) for the 2023-24 year.
The MPLSS is a tight-knit community aimed at supporting your ambitions of pursuing a legal education. Through our various events and teams, we hope to foster the next generation of legal minds at McGill. We have a wide variety of opportunities to take advantage of, from our Moot Court team competing in tournaments across Canada, to our amazing Mentorship program connecting you with law students and lawyers alike.
We hope you’ll join us at our events over the semester, and I encourage you to reach out to any of our Executives if you have any questions about what we do here at the MPLSS!
All the best,
Nick Rieck
